When you restore an old car that has originally 2K paint on it, do you restore it with waterbased paint?? By the way: my daughter is married to a Catalan man from BCN, and i have 3 beautiful grandkids that are half-Catalan. I am a happy man. Greetings from Holland!

Wonderful series of videos and superb craftsmanship from your team. Out of interest, did your customer specify they wanted the removable roof to remain painted Red rather than revert back to the Matt black factory standard? I only ask as I own a 1995 355GTS and my roof is also red (although I like originality, I think colour co-ordinating the roof looks better).

I have to say that you learn one very valuable lesson from this video, more so than any on UA-cam. The decision to walk away. When there is so much that needs to be done, it is not economically feasible to continue. I wish most people saw these cars this way. I still think it's a solid car, but if you are not doing the work yourself then it could add up to be four times the car's value. Smart to walk away. It till find a home with someone who can do DIY and get it done. Most mid-year 911s in the USA from this time are very rusted and trashed. This one looks clean. It will be a welcome project for someone who doesn't have to pay someone. However, if it were me, I would delete the sunroof altogether - why spend 5000 euro on it when you can delete the sunroof?

Me gustaría saber donde ha podido encontrar tanto recambio nuevo para este coche. Algún día me gustaría hacer una restauración como esta. Felicidades por la calidad de los videos.

Repito FELICIDADES sois unos profesionales. Soy de Gerona y tengo un volvo también antiguo, un 740 gl familiar, tal vez os venga a ver algún día, para ver si puedo darle una segunda vida....
